Duties involve:
Loading wheelbarrows and spreading mulch, topsoil, and stone
Prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges, using shears, pruners, hedge clippers, or power saws, and cleaning up debris/shrub clippings
Hauling branches and loading trailer.
Weeding landscape beds.
Planting and removing shrubs and trees
Edging around landscape beds
Over-seeding lawns
Various other landscaping tasks as needed.
Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.
Care for established lawns by aerating, etc.
Plant seeds, bulbs, foliage, flowering plants, grass, ground covers, trees, or shrubs.
Rake, blow, and haul tarps with leaves.
Experience Required
Prior successful landscaping, lawn, or tree care experience of 1 year or more preferred but not required.
Must be at least 16.5 years old with a valid driver’s license with your own reliable transportation.
Must be able to speak English.
Hours
Generally 30-40 hours per week, with exceptions for weather. You will get many Saturdays and all Sundays off.
Pay and Benefits
$16-$18 per hour. We reward by performance level; if you are high performer, your pay will increase.
